It has been a long, cold winter but springtime is just around the corner. It has been awhile since the last Thai Chili newsletter but we have some exciting news to share. We have some great photos from the Asia Pacific Cultural Celebration, and Nina will once again be participating in a humanitarian trip to Guatemala.

You can find your favorite dishes, such as Tom Kha Prawn Soup, Garlic Chicken or Yellow Curry on the menu, but for a limited time we will be offering a special dish you won't find on the menu. It is called Chicken with Thai Basil prepared real Thai style. It is stir-fried ground chicken with fresh basil leaves in a pepper and garlic sauce with bell pepper, and onion. Remember that this is not on the menu so you'll have to ask your server for it, and it's for a limited time only so hurry on in.

A note from Nina:

It’s that time again when I am planning my annual humanitarian trip overseas with a group of 20 medically trained professionals. On March 17th 2011, the Hands of Love medical/dental team will travel once again to Guatemala. Their 10 day mission will be to attend to various clinical procedures for the locals such as dentistry, gynecological services, minor surgeries, vaccinations, and health education.

To help fund the trip, from Monday March 7th to Friday March 11th, Thai Chili Restaurant will donate $1.00 for every meal sold at the restaurant to help pay for travel expenses. So stop in for lunch or dinner during the week to help me help the good people of Guatemala. What a delicious way to enjoy your favorite Thai cuisine while helping a great cause at the same time!
